    MCA Update: MCA extended relaxation of minimum residency requirement

    Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide General Circular 36/2020 has extended the relaxation of minimum residency requirement for directors for Financial year 2020-2021. Accordingly, minimum residency requirement of at least 182 days by at least one director shall not be treated as non-compliance under Section 149 of the Companies Act, 2013 for the Financial year 2020-2021.
